Plot Summary
John Mason meets Jane on a business trip in Boston, marries her, and brings her back to New York. John feels inadequate and unappreciated in his law firm, despite Jane’s constant affirmations. When their young son falls ill, John and Jane must find the courage to do everything in their power to get him the care he needs.
