Plot Summary

Oscar loses money in a high-stakes card game to Victor, but isn’t able to pay his debts. Victor demands his money, and forces Oscar to rob a stagecoach. Hal, the beau of Oscar’s sister, Sybil, learns of the robbery and decides to take the blame in an effort to protect Sybil’s family honor. Hal saves Oscar from being murdered by Victor, settles his debts, and eventually wins back Sybil’s affections.
